Hi all.
CJ and Jordan were here for a week, and I had a blast with them. It's always great to see my brother .. he's easily my favorite person in the world. The problem is that now I am alone, because Paul left for Wisconsin last Saturday, and I wish I had someone to live with! I am VERY excited though because Mackensey will be here in 10 DAYS to stay with me!!!
Anywho, I finished my internship last Friday and now I am interviewing for another job. I'm hoping everything falls through, it's been going smoothly so far! One more phone interview on Friday and then I should be good to go! I won't start working until September anyway but at least I will have some security!
Still apartment searching - if anyone has any good leads, please let me know! I am looking (preferably Rock Creek, Dupont, or Gtown) .. let me know!!
Gotta run and grab some stuff from Melissa.

Happy Sunday everyone!
My brother and his friend, Jordan, have decided to come and visit me from August 4th-10th!! I'm super excited to see them!! Just gotta try to figure out what to do with them. I'm thinking Spy Museum, Madam Toussaud's Wax Museum, and at least the Newseum!!
So right now I am watching Entourage, and switching back and forth to the soccer game - World Cup Final game between Spain and Netherlands!
Another long week of work tomorrow, but I feel more rested from this weekend, so I'm pretty happy! Hope all is well with everyone - can't wait till summer is over and all my friends come back to play with me!!

Crossfit
Hi all!
Going to start blogging about Crossfit, and maybe that will get me going on writing in this more :) work out -------------->
Hope everyone is having a great day! We just got done working out and now I have a very busy day ahead of me. A lot of work, and one of our clients is taking us to a WNBA Washington Mystics game tonight (in his box)! Should be pretty awesome :).

TGIF!
It's been a long two days, especially with this ridiculous pain in my stomach and back. I've taken several things for it, but I think I'm just supposed to be in pain for a few day. Oh well.
Crossfit kicked my butt yesterday (every Tuesday and Thursday with Champion) - our warm-up was 400 meter jog, 20 pull-ups, 20 BW squats, and 2 minutes of jump rope. our workout was 45 double-unders (jump rope), 45 SQUAT CLEANS - ridiculous, and 45 double-unders again (jump rope). Talk about a freaking workout.
Needless to say, i'm sore, tired, and would rather be on my couch right now. But I guess that is life and life must go on! Tonight Paul wants to see "Grown Ups", which I've heard wasn't that great. But of course we will like it, just because it has awesome actors and will make us laugh.
Okay, off to Cosi for our Friday breakfast meeting!

Yikes!
It's been a long long while since I've written anything, so I am not even going to ATTEMPT to catch up on everything that has been going on .. I'll just give you a few ideas!
Graduation: ROCKED (minus the fact that we got stuck INSIDE - the only school to be in the gym). It ended up being pretty nice though, since it wasn't as hot inside as it was outside. Plus, it poured, so that would have been bad also, haha.
Work: Currently at CRA - Champion Recruiting Associates in Bethesda, MD. Sourcing and staffing with my fellow interns - Kelsey, Scott, Chelsea, and Jordan. We're all awesome and I love us!
Apartment: Living with Paul Doucas, in Will's room (Will is in Wisconsin for the summer). It's been really awesome staying with him - we get along so well! He even helped me get business cards at an event for work, lol. Really good guy!

I'm back ...
I know it's been awhile, and I don't really have a good excuse as to why I haven't written - but I feel like now would be a good time to write about some feelings I've been having lately.
First off, I started a new blog for my marketing ideas and thoughts - demsdailys.blogspot.com
Secondly, I've been waking up in the morning just plain scared about where the future is going to take me. I graduate in less than 2 months, and the thought of being out in the real world scares me a lot. The fear is real, and trying to balance homework, softball, friends, and life in general has been rough. I want to see all my friends all the time, because I know that time is limited. I also want to eliminate homework and presentations from my life just so that I can hang with my friends, but then I feel like once I graduate, I'll be wishing I had homework again!
I definitely have to be more proactive about jobs and things for when I graduate. It has been helpful to talk to different people about their experiences, and to know that I'm not alone in my job search, and overall panic. It's always hard when you move on from one major part of your life to the next. I even have to start paying off my loans in December! Oh goodness.
Finally, I have to say that I am definitely overall enjoying my last semester on the hilltop, and softball has been bringing me a lot of joy. We unfortunately had to put my puppy down last week (<3 Domino) and that was really tough on me, but my girls on the team really helped me out that weekend and we pulled out a couple of key W's against UCONN.
I look forward to updating this more often in the following years. I think it's important to remember the times that got you where you are today. I hope everyone has a great Easter break with your families!

Opening Weekend
I'll be back with more later.. but we opened in Elon, NC this past weekend .. Played Rider and Elon each twice .. went 2-2, losing both to Elon ..
It was a fun weekend, and I'm so so happy to be back on the field, but I do think we could have come out of the weekend with 4 wins.
Excited for next weekend .. Maybe we'll come out 7-2 ;)

It's been awhile ...
So I know I haven't written in a long while (sorry Mac!), but I figure since I have some free time, I'll catch up a bit. I'm not even sure when I wrote last!!
First off .. CJ COMES IN TWO DAYS! I'm so excited to see the lil bro .. He's my fav person in the whole world <3.
Currently sitting in Leo's, waiting for Francesca to get here. Otherwise, life has been pretty much on auto-pilot. Softball every other day for individuals .. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday .. plus lifting plus conditioning. Then Thursday nights are my fav, cuz all the girls come over to watch Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice! Went to the grocery store Monday with Melissa and Kara and we got a bottle of Arbor Mist (Strawberry) for during Grey's this week (well, they used me to buy the alcohol, basically haha). Should be a really chill night .. looking forward to it!!
I'm trying to get all of my work done before CJ gets here, because I am doing ZERO work while he is here, and spending every possible second with him. I wish he lived up here with me .. that would be the best EVER. This Saturday I'm making pancakes for a bunch of close friends at my place .. my (famous) chocolate chip/banana pancakes. (Ask Mac .. they're fabulicious!) teheh. PLUS, I get to take CJ sightseeing with the girls!! AND Christina, her sis, and their friends are coming too! Should be an amaz-za-zing weekend :)
Classes are going pretty well .. I bombed (literally) my Strategic Management midterm. Oh well. I should probs talk to my professor about it .. the funny part is that I rocked the essay and the multiple choice killed me. At least I know what I'm doing and can explain myself. I'm looking forward to my Sports Marketing class next semester! Just started my pre-registration for next semester .. EWWWW .. almost half way done with the year .. WHAT?!?!? Please slow down time?! I'm not ready to say good bye .. and I certainly don't know how I'll live without certain people here .. :-/ ..
Anywho, tonight we have KK, and we're presenting our Scavenger Hunt pictures .. I'm excited to see each team's pics! :) Also, my professor canceled the one final that I had, which means I have zero .. so I'll be working on 5 group projects and presentations instead lol. I should probably get on that with my groups ... lol jk jk ...
I'm way excited to see my friend Justine play this Sunday against our vball team .. she's on the Louisville team .. a senior like me! Best friends since High School :). PLUS Jenna comes next Tuesday! Man, the next week and a half is gonna be bomb! Plus, Mac, Melissa, and I may be going to NYC the weekend after! I love my friends <3. I'm totally just going on tangents here .. Francesca just got here for breakfast but I'll update more on the past month, soon!!
